Diamonds at Juhu Beach...

One of my friend called up and said “Abe kya kar raha hai - people are getting diamonds at Juhu Beach”. I asked him twice “What?!!” He said “Abe chal there are 100s of people at Juhu Beach and they have found diamonds on the beach.” At first I felt he was just bluffing. But being Sunday thought, chalo lets go and see - it will be a sort of T.P. (time pass). We reached Juhu beach at 10 in morning. It was like frenzy at the beach. People of all sort coming to beach, by car, rickshaw, bus, everything whatever source was available. The beach was full crowded with 100s of people on the beach. We went to nearby stall and asked a 'Bhaiya'. He told us that people are finding diamonds on the beach. The sea was spitting diamonds on the beach. I thought - wow, if its really true then India and people of india would be so rich if all the beaches in such a way started spitting diamonds. But then just used my common sense. People there were saying that some smugglers might have thrown the diamonds in sea fearing of some raid and blah blah. If so was the case, then how did the diamonds swim to the shore. Because diamonds are not porous or so light weighted that they float on water and could be dragged on to the shore. Mumbai's people are so fool!! That they think sea was spitting diamonds. What has happened to Mumbaikars? Even the rich were coming to buy diamonds. And they were purchasing it for Rs.100/- to Rs.200/-. If really they were diamonds, why would seller sell for such a low price, he could have easily gone to some jeweller's shop and sold it in thousands. Didnt the people have this much common sense. I was just laughing at people's foolishness. In the 21st Century also people believe in such rumours. Great are Mumbaikars!! I think I also need to do something like this. I will go to Chowpatty and spill some glass stones of different colors and then sell them for Rs.100/- might get some good amount ;). You need brilliant ideas, there are many fools to fulfill your such dreams and ideas. If you have any such brilliant idea, do send. :D
